Kaunaz is the rune that rules a fortnight from the 29th of August to 13th of October and of the hour of 17:30-18:30, with the meaning of ‘knowledge’. Heimdall is the deity in association , along with the bright flame of a torch or beacon.
When Kaunaz appears in divination and upright it tells of the gaining of knowledge. A love affair or a meaningful relationship may begin, with the results of such likely to teach a thing or two about life. A sudden insight is of higher chance and safety is likely for the time being.
Inverted, a loss of loyalties, friends or love is foretold. It might also be time to let go of the past. One may feel at loss of what to do, but the path needed to be taken will eventually be known.
