Small Cranberry


Vaccinium oxycoccos is a species of fruiting shrub better known as Small Cranberry. It is an evergreen trailing plant that enjoys cooler regions and boggy soils. It grows to the height of 50cm and 2m, requiring full or partial sun and is a frost hardy plant. The fruits are edible and can be used in medicine.

Small cranberry is a plant with a dislike for lime and a preference to acidic and moist to wet soils. Loam is the choice of choice of soil to grow small cranberries.
