Petrea volubilis

Petrea volubilis is a fast growing vine that gets woody. It has multiple common names including Queen's Wreath, Sandpaper Vine, Purple Wreath and Blue Bird Vine. It grows upwards to 10m in height and width and requires full sun. The flowers are small and clustered growing from late winter to early autumn, with the leaves having a texture alike to sandpaper.

This species of plant prefers fertile, well-drained soils and ideal to be grown in tropic and sub-tropic areas. It needs to be protected from colder weather.
