Songzi Niangniang, also called Zhusheng Niangniang, is the goddess of fertility, to whom men and women go pray to for kids. In the legend of the Golden Boy and Jade Girl, it was Songzi Niangniang whom allowed Golden Boy and Jade Girl to get to the world of the mortals by a lotus.
Often depicted looking alike to Guanyin, but it also common to see Songzi Niangniang depicted as an empress like figure. Songzi Niangniang is notably the attendant of the goddess Bixia Yuanjin.
